Step 5 - Exploration for danger

Let's add some danger to your game.

Colossal squid need to watch out for predators like sharks, sperm whales and even other squid. The eyes of the colossal squid are the largest in the world: as big as soccer balls. The larger your eyes are the better you can see in the cold, dark depths of the ocean.

Let's add a script so if the predators catch you, they will eat you!

Drag your view of the level further up until you find the Giant Squid, and edit its script.

We need to detect when your squid bumps into this Giant Squid, so again grab the "When touched get toucher" block (from Physics).

Now open Events and drag "broadcast message" into this block. Change the message to "you were eaten".

Now play the game and see if the Giant Squid will eat you.
